My Uncle John Freconna was a true inspiration to our family. He was a Godly man who enjoyed life to the fullest. I have fond memories of him coming to take us children for rides in the sidecar of his motorcycle. I was always sure to see him at mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He always seemed to have a positive outlook and a pleasant disposition. He was a handsome man and a sharp dresser. He amazed the family by attending dances even into his 90's. I salute him for his service to our country, raising a wonderful son as a single parent, and overcoming cancer. I will remember him with great love and deep admiration. I will try to follow his example of faith.
