I remember ‘Mr Hofer’, from my days at Stow High school. I was thinking about him, and only found out that he had passed away, today. My condolences to his family and friends. I credit him, with piquing my interest in politics, economics and American societal norms. He encouraged us to see beyond the limitations, and seek answers to any questions we had about life and our path through it.
I am deeply sadden to hear of Barry passing away. I have such wonderful memories of us working together for 28 years. Barry worked hard, and played hard. He deserved all of the success that came his way. He passed way too soon. My deepest sympathy to Lynda, and all of the Hofer family.
I have a lot of good memories of Barry from the years we lived together in college. Barry is one of those people you never forget. He certainly lived life to its fullest. Our condolences to Lynda and his sisters.

Sincere condolances to all. Barry was a good friend and business associate - a leader in our industry. Always enjoyed any time we could get together for a visit, busines or pleasure. Especially enjoyed our times on the docks at CIC when Barry would rewind his many boat stories. He will bemissed by many, as he touched many lives in this world. Never knew anyone busier than this man. RIP good friend.
